ETS Primecast Episode 4: Is IceWarp the Smarter Alternative to Microsoft 365?

In this episode of ETS Primecast, we introduced IceWarp, an all in one workspace bringing email, collaboration, and file management into a single platform, fully branded as yours.

Thomas opened by addressing the question every business asks before considering a switch: who is IceWarp, and can they be trusted with your email? The answer comes from independent certifications, not IceWarp’s own claims. This includes ISO certifications for quality management and information security, as well as certifications for cloud security and personal data protection. Inside the product, all communication is encrypted, spam and virus protection is built in, and two factor authentication can be switched on at sign in.

Thomas also broke down how IceWarp Drive storage works. Rather than locking a fixed amount to each user, storage is treated as an aggregate. If one person only needs a fraction of their allocation, that space can be redistributed to a colleague who needs more, so businesses aren’t paying for capacity that goes unused.

Mpilo introduced ETS Prime Cloud, ETS’s own cloud platform, hosted in South Africa and built on Oracle technology. Fully managed by ETS, it reduces the administrative burden on internal teams, while local data residency keeps businesses in control and can make POPIA compliance simpler.
